…wichita turned a 5-4-3 triple play, lincoln beat fort worth and actually held off a rally in the 9th after entering the inning with a 6-3 lead, and sioux falls is in second place. i think that just about sums it up…

…the grand prairie airhogs won the first game in their franchise’s history with a 2-1 victory over the shreveport sports in the first game of the double-header, but shreveport got some measure of revenge with a 5-1 win in game two. it’s pretty impressive that a team like grand prairie, who we saw struggle mightily on the hill, held shreveport, who scored 21 runs on opening night, to just 1 run in the first game today. congrats go out to pete incaviglia and everyone in grand prairie who worked hard to get that team together…
